i think we should have wide knowledge about the topic we are going to present, shouldn't use many new words when presenting, try to focus on main ideas and have to practise it many times at home.

I agree with Tieulongnu. The audience is the most important that we have to respect. We will failure if the audience feels bored or go asleep.

How to express our ideas without " uhm, ah" I'm usually in this situation.( Maybe I wasn't well- prepared my presentation).

I'm also in the same situation with you many times. It's very common when we cannot find any suitable word to use or don't know what to talk next. And then "uhm, ah" happens. What is the solution? I think when speaking E, we should speak slowly, stress at some important words and if we dont know what to talk about, stop to think in 1-2 seconds without "uhmmmmmmmmm". It's ok if we cannot speak E very fast! We can improve our fluency through PRACTICE because 'practise makes perfect'. Have a nice day everyone!!!!!

somtimes we have to say uhm, ah to show that we are thinking (cai do goi la tri tue,hehe). but if we had the topic already, you still say uhm, ah, it means you didn't prepare well.
